Triton Digital Powers Xbox Music Service
Los Angeles-based Trigon Digital, the provider of digital advertising anf other services to both the traditional and online radio market, is powering a number of features of the new, free music streaming service from Microsoft, Xbox Music, the company said this week. PriceGrabber: Thanksgiving Holiday Traffic Grows 14 Percent
PriceGrabber, the online comparison shopping site based in Los Angeles, reported today that it saw a 14 percent year-over-year growth in traffic from Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday shopping. The company said the growth indicates that more consumers are using the Internet for research, price comparisons, and purchasing gifts. StockTwits Mines Sentiment Data
StockTwits, the online stock-focused financial discussion service based in San Diego, said today that it has launched a new feature of the site, showing sentiment data and message volume to its ticker pages. The new feature mines data recently added to the service to figure out if stock investors are more positive or negative in their discussions of different stocks. Calacanis Backs Red Tricycle
Prolific angel investor Jason Calacanis has backed the operator of an online service which provides parents with information about local activities, restaurants, stores, and more, Red Tricycle. Red Tricycle, which is based in Seattle, said it raised $1.5M in a Series A round, which was led led by Maveron, and also included 500 Startups, Richmond Park Partners and zulily, along with Jason Calacanis, Paul Buchheit, Bob Pittman, and Jon Nordmark.

Geni Acquisition News Takes Down Service For Hours
Oops. That big acquisition of Los Angeles family tree site Geni had an unwanted side effect: it took down the site for nearly five hours, Geni reports. Geni said it suffered unexpected downtime, starting at 7 a.m. Thursday morning, running until 10:40 a.m., on the surge of traffic received by the company after it was announced that it is being acquired by genealogy service MyHeritage. SGN In Real Money Betting Deal With Betable
SGN, the developer of social and mobile games, said today that it is adding real money gambling to its games, via a partnership with legal gambling API provider Betable. SGN said a selection of its games will be powered by Betable in certain overseas markets. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. SocialVibe Partners With Secure Web Browsing Firm
Los Angeles-based online advertising firm SocialVibe said Thursday that it has partnered with secure web browsing app provider AnchorFree. SocialVibe said AnchorFree becomes a premium partner of the firm. Details of the partnership and link were not announced.
