YouTube To Stream Coachella Music Festival
Can't get a ticket to the Coachella music festival this year in Indio (or don't want to brave the desert heat and crowds)? YouTube announced Tuesday afternoon that it will be streaming the popular music festival live this year--again-from the official Coachella YouTube Channel. YouTube said it will have a three-channel feed of the live performances from five stages, plus also include interviews and more. Coachella starts streaming Friday at 3:30pm, according to YouTube. YouMail Extends To Windows 8, Thanks To Third Party Developer

Machinima Expands To The UK
Los Angeles-based YouTube network Machinima is in an expansion, and is setting up a dedicated business in the United Kingdom, according to local reports. According to MCV, Machinima is looking to target British gamers with the expansion, and has hired on a head of Machinima UK to grow its programming. Apparently, Machinima has around 200M monthly video views in the United Kingdom. Machinima develops online content geared towards video game enthusiasts.

Docstoc Powers Microsoft Business Documents Marketplace
In a big win for Docstoc, the online business documents site run by Jason Nazar, the firm announced Tuesday that it has teamed up with Microsoft, to offer up small business documents for sale online. Docstoc's various documents--including things like partnership agreements, NDAs, confidentiality agreements, and much more--are now available for purchase through Microsoft Office 2013. Fan Appz Links into Social Collaboration Marketplace
Santa Monica-based Fan Appz, the developer of personalized, marketing software headed by Jon Siegal, said today that it has linked into social collaboration network marketplace SHIFT. Boingo, AT&T Partner On Roaming Agreement
Los Angeles-based Wi-Fi network operator Boingo Wireless is in a major roaming agreement deal today, this time with AT&T. According to the companies, the link gives AT&T's customers access to Boingo's global network of Wi-Fi hotspots, particularly for international travelers, via AT&T's Wi-Fi International App. The two said the app will give AT&T customers up to 1 GB of Wi-Fi each month at no additional charge. Qualstar Names New CFO
Simi Valley-based data storage and power supply provider Qualstar announced today that it has named Philip G. Varley as its new Chief Financial Officer. Varley was most recently at financial consulting firm Barrington Group, where he had been CFo at DemandPoint and a number of turnaround companies. Qualstar said that Varley has over 20 years of experience, and has been behind a number of successful turnarounds.

Santa Monica-based technology incubator and studio Science has added technology veteran Jason Rapp to its team. Rapp was previously President and member of the board of Mahalo.com, the app and video content developer headed by Jason Calacanis. Donuts Raises Series B For Domain Domination
Donuts Inc., the startup which is taking on the new, generic top-level domain name market, announced a new round of funding today, a Series B round. Size of the round was not disclosed. The firm, which has offices in Southern California and which was founded by former Demand Media executives, said its new funding round was led by Generation Partners, and also included Columbia Partners Private Capital. Row 44 Deploys On Norwegian Air
Westlake Village-based in-flight Wi-Fi equipment provider Row 44, which is now a subsidiary of Global Eagle Entertainment, reported this morning that it has deployed its systems on 60 Norwegian Air Shuttle Boeing 737-800's. SmartDrive Systems Provides Data To UK Research Lab
San Diego-based driving monitoring system developer SmartDrive Systems announced this morning that it has been selected by the UK Transport Research Laboratory, for a study. According to SmartDrive, it will provide billions of hours of driving information from vehicles equipped with its systems to the lab, to help the lab in its research. AltaSens Debuts New CMOS Sensors
Westlake Village-based AltaSens, a developer of CMOS image sensors, debuted two new products Monday. According to AltaSens, it has rolled out two new chips, a new CMOS sensor and an accompanying Wide Dynamic Range processing unit. The new products are aimed at the security, video conferencing, and medical industries. AltaSens developing high definition and wide dynamic range CMOS imaging sensors. The firm's new AL30210C image sensor is now in mass production, according to the company.
