Xpenser Acquired By Coupa Software
San Diego-based Xpenser, a startup developing a cloud-based service to help prepare and submit expense reports for its users, has been acquired. According to Coupa Software, it will use the buy to expand its domain expertise and leadership in the area of expense management. Xpenser was founded and was headed by Parand Tony Darugar, who has become General Manager, Expenses, at Coupa. The firm was founded in 2008. Boingo Goes Live At Dallas Love Field
Boingo Wireless, the operator of the global Wi-Fi hotspot network, said today that it has gone live at Dallas Love Field, the latest airport launch for the company. Boingo unveiled the new Wi-Fi network as part of the airport's upgraded North Concourse. Boingo offers up a multi-carrier, Wi-Fi network in the terminal, which lets customers of such partners as Spring, Skype, Verizon, and NTT DOCOMO access wireless Internet via an 802.11n network. Burner Brings Disposable Phone Numbers To Android

Miramar, Okapi Back Healthcare Software Developer
Two, Orange County venture capital investors are behind a developer of socially-driven, healthcare software aimed at helping health plans encourage healthy activity by their members. Welltok said today that it has raised $18.7M in a Series B funding round, which came from Emergence Capital Partners, InterWest Partners and New Enterprise Associates (NEA), along with existing investors Miramar Venture Partners, Okapi Venture Capital and TriZetto Corporation. Report: Life Technologies Gets Bid From Thermo Fisher Scientific
Carlsbad-based life sciences equipment maker Life Technologies has received an acquisition bid from Thermo Fisher Scientific, according to a report from Reuters. The report, citing "several people familiar with the matter", said that a consortium of private equity firms, include Blackstone Group, Carlyle Group, and Temasek Holdings, are in the midst of submitting their own offer for Life Technologies.

NetDNA Taps Startup For CDN Monitoring
