LifeProof Acquired By Otterbox
San Diego-based electronics protective case and accessory maker LifeProof (TreeFrog Development Inc.) has been acquired by protective case maker Otterbox, the two companies announced late Wednesday. Financial terms of the buy were not announced by the companies. According to the two companies, OtterBox will incorporate LifeProof's brand into OtterBox's family of products, and will also add the approximately 250 employees of LifeProof to the company. Fullscreen Bolsters Media Cred With New Engineering VP
Los Angeles-based YouTube network Fullscreen has bolstered its team--and media credibility--with a new hire, the company said Wednesday. Xirrus Wins Healthcare Provider
Thousand Oaks-based wireless equipment provider Xirrus said Tuesday that it has scored a win with American Addition Centers, a provider of a national network of treatment centers. Xirrus said the treatment center has equipped its 70,000 square foot facility in Las Vegas with its Wi-Fi arrays.
