Honey Links With Cardpool To Give Users Bigger Discounts
Consumers looking to save money while shopping online will be happy to hear that Honey, the developer of the browser add-ons which automatically search for and apply coupons to their shopping cards, has teamed up with discounted gift card provider Honey said that its software now automatically looks for discounted gift cards for users, in addition to automatically locating coupons. Hulu Gets $750M, Studios To Maintain Ownership
Los Angeles-based video streaming site Hulu will receive $750M in a funding round, and continue to be owned by 21st Century Fox, NBCUniversal and The Walt Disney Company, those firms announced Friday morning, as the companies have decided not to sell their stake in the onlie television site. According to the three studios, they will maintain their respective ownership positions in Hulu. The new funding will go to "propel future growth".

Sonos Plugs Into 8tracks

NRG Solar Starts Operation On Two Solar Plants
Carlsbad-based solar project developer NRG Solar, which is a subsidiary of NRG Energy, has opened up two new, solar energy plants in California. According to NRG, the two solar photovoltaic plants have a combined capacity of 40 megawatts, and are located in Lancaster and Kings County. NRG acquired both projects from Recurrent Energy earlier this year. NRG said the plans are supplying electricity to both Southern California Edison (SCE) and Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).
