Broadcom Wins Another Chinese Smartphone Design
Irvine-based Broadcom said this morning that it has scored another design win in China, with Chinese cellphone manufacturer K-Touch. According to Broadcom, K-Touch will use a wide range of processors and supporting chips to power its new W98 and W96 Android-based smartphones. Shipment volumes and financial impact of the deal were not announced.
