CouponMountain.com In Big Redesign
Monrovia, California-based CouponMountain.com, the online coupon site which until last week was owned by ValueClick but is now part of IAC, said today that it has launched a big redesign of its site. According to the site, its new design helps users find coupon codes via a single search, adding instant search to access what it says are more than 13,000 active coupon code. CouponMountain was one of the "Owned & Operated" sites owned by ValueClick, which that company had been looking to offload to (More info...)

SpaceX Negotiating Lease For Space Shuttle Launchpad
Hawthorne-based SpaceX is in negotiations with NASA to lease a launch pad at Kennedy Space Center, NASA said Friday, in a move which--symbolically, at least--would give SpaceX a premiere location to launch its rocket missions into space. NASA said that it is working with SpaceX to lease historic Launch Complex (LC) 39A, which has been used to launch the United States into space. Launch Complex 39A & B was the base for Apollo, Skylab, Apollo-Soyuz and all 135 space shuttle missions, according to (More info...)

BlackLine Systems: Revenues Up 50 Percent This Year
Los Angeles-based accounting software developer BlackLine Systems reported this morning that its revenues are up more than 50 percent again this year, which it says is the seventh year in a row for the company. Actual revenues were not announced by the company, however, Blackline had said earlier this year that it was on track to over $40M in revenues this year. AGGIOS Gets Energy Commission Funding
Irvine-based AGGIOS, a developer of software for the energy management and design market, reported this morning that it has received funding from the California Energy Commission (CEC) for its research. Amount of the funding was not announced. AGGIOS is developing software that uses the power profiles of hardware and software, combined with application and user collection, to generate optimized energy management software.
