OneRoof Energy Opens API

Kurion Buys Engineering Firm, Triples Staff
Irvine-based nuclear and hazardous waste remediation technology developer Kurion, which is venture backed by Lux Capital, Firelake Capital Management and Acadia Woods Partners, said this morning that it has acquired Vista Engineering Technologies, an engineering, design and technology firm. XCOR Aerospace Raises $14.2M
Mojave-based commercial spaceflight developer XCOR Aerospace has raised $14.2M, part of an ongoing $20.0M funding round for the company, according to a regulatory filing from the company. The equity funding has not yet been announced by the company. NGEN Backs Urban Farming Company BrightFarms
Clean technology investor NGEN Partners, which is based in Santa Barbara, is one of the lead investors in a new funding round for urban farming company BrightFarms, which was announced Tuesday. Demand Media Shifts Ad Strategy
Santa Monica-based Demand Media, the publisher of online content, said late Tuesday that it is changing its advertising strategy to exclusively focus on premium programmatic ads. The company said the move will result in the elimination of its premium display salesforce. PaeDae Ties Into appMobi
Los Angeles-based mobile advertising startup PaeDae announced this morning that it has tied into Intel's appMobi effort, which will allow Intel developers to integrate with its advertising platform. appMobi develops cross platform application development software for HTML5 and Javascript, and was acquired by Intel last year. TowerJazz Gets Multi-Million Dollar Win With Air Force
Newport Beach-based semiconductor foundry TowerJazz reported this morning that it has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract with the United States Air Force, and its Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Paterson Air Force Base (USAF/AFRL).
