Boingo Wireless Gets Win At Air Force Academy
Los Angeles-based Wi-Fi network operator and provider Boingo Wireless said today that it has been selected by the Air Force Academy, to deploy a Wi-Fi and small cell network for the Air Force Academy's Falcon Stadium and Cadet Field House. Financial impact of the win were not disclosed. Boingo said the move will help increase capacity and improve wireless connectivity at the 56,000 seat venue. Women's Venture Capital Fund Boosts Advisory Board
Women's Venture Capital Fund, a venture capital investment fund focused on investing in what it calls "gender diverse" teams, said today that it has added a Harvard Business School professor to its advisory board. National Technical Systems Buys Business From Wyle Laboratories
Calabasas-based National Technical Systems, which is a provider of environmental and other testing and related services to manufacturers, said it has acquired the testing business of Wyle Laboratories. Infinitely Virtual Opens Data Center In Boston
Los Angeles-based virtual server hosting provider Infinitely Virtual says it has opened up a new hosting facility in Boston, the second data center for the company. According to Infinitely Virtual, it has opened up the data center in Somerville, Mass., to complement the company's primary data center in Los Angeles. Size of the facility was not announced.
