Rubicon Project's Big Winners: Clearstone, News Corp., Mayfield
Who were the biggest winners in the successful IPO of Santa Monica-based Rubicon Project? Sonos Connects To MLB.com
Santa Barbara-based whole home audio system maker Sonos said today that it is is now streaming all of the games from MLB.com, letting baseball fans listen to all of the game audio for every team, live via its audio system. According to Sonos, the service requires a subscription to MLB.com's Gameday Audio service, which costs $19.99 a year, but will let users listen to every regular season and Postseason game live via its audio systems.

NoteVault Gets Funding For Mobile Notetaking Apps
San Diego-based Notevault, a developer of mobile apps aimed at helping people in the engineering and construction industry tie photos and voice notes to projects, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding. The funding came from San Diego investor West Partners. NoteVault, which is led by Peter Lasensky, develops software which is used to generate commercial construction reports, using mobile phones and voice transcription to annotate projects, document engineering and construction, and more. Los Angeles Venture Investors Get Their Mojo Back

Lynda.com Buys Compilr
Carpinteria-based online video education site Lynda.com said today that it has acquired Compilr, a developer of a software coding and development environment which lets people learn how to write, compile, and test code from their web browser. OneRoof Energy Expands In Northeast
San Diego-based solar power lease provider OneRoof Energy said this morning that it has expanded into the Northeast, and has started offering residential solar leases in Massachusetts. OneRoof Energy said it is opening up new offices in Newton, close to downtown Boston, as part of the expansion. OneRoof Energy provides financing for the installation of solar panels on residences, working with local solar installers. MaxCDN Ties With Web Firewall Provider
Los Angeles-based content delivery network operator MaxCDN said this morning that it has integrated its platform with a website firewall provider, Sucuri. Financial details of the link were not announced. DTS Link With New DivX Release
Calabasas-based DTS, the provider of surround sound audio technology, and San Diego-based video encoding/decoding software provider DivX will be integrating their respective solutions together in a new DivX software release.
