ecoATM Bolsters Law Enforcement Ties Via Former San Diego Police Chief
San Diego-based ecoATM, which operates a network of nationwide, automated electronics recycling kiosks, is further bolstering its efforts to make sure the cell phones it is collecting are legit. The company said this week that it has tied with former San Diego Chief of Police, William Lansdowne, to assist the company in building and strengthening relationships with law enforcement across the country. Invoca Hits 100 Employees, Adds Execs
Santa Barbara-based Invoca, the developer of cloud-based, call marketing and click-to-call technology which is backed by Accel Partners, Upfront Ventures and Rincon Venture Partners, said it has hit 100 employees, and also expanded its executive team. The company said it named Kevin Ferguson as Senior Vice President of Sales; J. Omnitracs Names New President, COO
San Diego-based Omnitracs, which offers up fleet management software and services, said yesterday that it has named David Post as the company's new President and Chief Operating Officer. Post joins the company from MRI Software, where he had been CEO. The company said Post led efforts to acquire MRI Software from Intuit. QAD Expands Board
Santa Barbara-based enterprise resource planning software developer QAD has appointed a new board member, saying late Thursday that it has added Leslie J. Stretch as a board member. Stretch is President and CEO of Callidus Software, and also had served at Sun Microsystems and Oracle. QAD said it now has six members of its board.
