ServiceNow Buys Neebula Systems In $100M Deal
ServiceNow, the developer of enterprise IT automation software which has a large chunk of its operations in San Diego, said earlier this week that it has agreed to acquire Neebula Systems. Neebula Systems develops software for automating the discovery, mapping, and monitoring of IT services. ServiceNow is paying approximately $100M in cash for Neebula, which was based in Israel. FreedomPop In International Expansion
Los Angeles-based free mobile phone service provider FreedomPop, the startup backed by Mangrove Capital, DCM, and Atomico, has made its first international expansion, saying Thursday that it has linked with Dutch carrier KPN. FreedomPop said it is launching into a European test market in Belgium, and has plans to expand to the UK, Germany, France, Spain and the Pacific Rim over the next few months. INSTEON Expands In Latin America
Irvine-based INSTEON, a developer of home automation and control products, said today that it has expanded in Latin America. INSTEON said it has opened up new offices in Ecuador and Guatemala, which will feature its technology in a home and office showroom, and stock inventory in those local markets. INSTEON develops a range of home automation products, including smartphone controlled lighting, sensors, energy monitoring products, and much more.
