Peach Raises $8M To Expand Beyond San Diego, SeattleLunch delivery service Peach, which provides office dwellers in San Diego and Seattle with an algorithm-driven, curated lunch service, is expanding beyond its two initial markets, into Boston and DC, thanks to a new $8M funding round. WD Extends Performance Desktop Drive Capacity To 6 TBIrvine-based hard drive maker WD is extending the capacity of its performance desktop hard drives to 6TB, the company announced today. WD said its 3.5 inch, 7200 RPM WD Black hard drives now support up to 6TB, and are aimed at high performance customers like gamers and professionals. The SATA hard drives were most recently only available at up to 4TB in capacity. The new hard rives start at $264.00 for the 5TB model, and $294.00 for the 6TB model.

Freudenberg Medical Buys Hemoteq AGCarpinteria-based Freudenberg Medical, which develops minimally invasive devices for the medical device and pharmaceutical industry, announced this morning that it has acquired the majority of German medical product developer Hemoteq AG. Hemoteq develops surface coating technologies used in medical devices. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Newegg Extends Membership Program to Friends, FamilyLos Angeles-based, online electronic products retailer NewEgg is extending its subscription-based, partner program to members' friends and family, the company said this morning. Pathway Genomics Names SBA's Barreto As AdvisorSan Diego-based medical diagnostics and health applications developer Pathway Genomics said this morning that it has added former U.S. Small Business Administration head Hector Barreto to its Strategic Advisory Board. Pathway said that Barreto specifically will help the company with closing the healthcare disparity gap in Latino populations. Pathway Genomics develops a specific cancer test aimed at helping target cancer variants found in Mexican-Americans and possibly other Latino populations.

LogicMonitor Launches New Dashboard ProductSanta Barbara-based LogicMonitor, which develops performance monitoring products for IT infrastructure, said today that it has launched a new dashboard product. The company said its new, Executive Dashboard product helps CIOs and CTOs with a dashbaord of the overall health and performance of their critical IT infrastructure. Pricing on the new product was not announced. The dashboard software works in conjunction with LogicMonitor's performance monitoring product.
