Mave Finds Seed Funding For Personal Concierge Startup
Santa Monica-based Mave has raised seed funding, for a yet-to-be-launched personal concierge startup, according to Fortune this morning. The new startup was founded by Emily White, a former executive of Snapchat and Instagram. Details on the funding have yet to be announced, and the company's site consists of a waitlist and no other details on the service. White was previously COO of Snapchat.

Pathmatics Gets $3M For Advertising Analytics Software
Santa Monica-based Pathmatics, a startup developing analytics software for analyzing the programmatic advertising market, has raised $3M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments (BDMI), and also included Upfront Ventures, Karlin Ventures, Baroda Ventures, Double M Partners, Daher Capital, plus Wavemaker Partners and Manatt Venture Fund. Zadara Extends To South Korea
Irvine-based cloud storage provider Zadara Storage has extended its service to South Korea, saying that it has deployed its products at the Kinx data center, to help support the newly launched AWS Seoul, South Korea region. Zadara develops enterprise products which use the cloud for data storage and backup, on both block (SAN) and file (NAS) storage. Cynvenio Launches Clinical Trial For Breast Cancer Monitoring
Westlake Village-based cancer diagnostics developer Cynvenio Biosystems said it has launched a new clinical trial, which will use its technology to monitor women with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) for early signs of metastasis. The company said the nationwide study is aimed at helping provide a better method to help patients monitor their health. Jetpack Grows In New York
Santa Monica-based rich media advertising technology developer Jetpack is expanding in New York, saying this week that it has opened up a new office New York City, and hired a new VP in the location. Jetpack said it has named Jeremy Carlin as Vice President, Business Development, to head up the company's East Coast operations. NantHealth Deploys Software In Singapore
Culver City-based NantHealth, which develops real time, decision support software for the healthcare market, said it has deployed its VitalsConX software in SIngapore. The company--one of a number of companies backed by biotech billionaire Patrick Soon-Shiong--said its software is used to simplify vital signs collection. The deployment was at Changi General Hospital (CGH). Financial impact of the customer win was not announced.

Semtech Releases Wireless Charging Eval Board Through Distribution
Camarillo-based analog and mixed signal semiconductor developer Semtech said today that it has released a evaluation board and platform for its wireless charging technology, through distribution. The new Wireless Charging Evaluation platform is available through Digi-Key and Mouser Electronics. The evaluation board is used by engineers for prototyping and developing wireless charging products, in such applications as laptops, monitors, car charging systems, and power tools.
