UberMedia's New Product Ties Your Ad Views To Your Local Shopping
Pasadena-based mobile ad measurement platform developer UberMedia, one of the companies out of Idealab, has released a new, mobile attribution product that tracks cross-media advertisement and correlates that to foot traffic in stores. According to UberMedia, the new product, Cross-Media Location Visit Measurement (xLVR), helps marketers figure out which ads--desktop display ads, video, mobile, social, search, and so on--actually are triggering consumer shopping in retail stores. Appetize Links With FreedomPay For Secure POS Payments
Los Angeles-based point-of-sale tablet provider Appetize said today that it has linked up with payment gateway provider FreedomPay, to offer up PCI-validated, encrypted payment protection for its customers. Appetize develops cloud-based, point-of-sale (POS) systems which is used in the sports and entertainment, parking, leisure and education markets. Drizly Expands To San Diego
On-demand, alcohol delivery startup Drizly said this morning that it has expanded its service to San Diego, offering up delivery of beer, wine, and spirits to users across the Gaslamp, Hillcrest, La Jolla, Little Italy, Mission Beach, North Park, Ocean Beach, Old Town, Pacific Beach and Torrey Pines neighborhoods. Tinder Tops 1M Paid Users
Los Angeles-based dating app developer Tinder has just topped 1 million paid users, and has been driving "exceptional growth" for its parent company, Match Group. According to Match, is saw a 24 percent increase in revenue growth in its dating segment, which includes Tinder, PlentyofFish, Meetic, and Match. Overall, Match Group said it saw a 21 percent increase in revenues for its Q1.

Teledyne Sells Printed Circuit Board Unit
Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne announced this morning that it is selling off its printed circuit board business, Teledyne PCT, to FTG Circuits. The deal is worth $9.3M in cash. According to Teledyne, Teledyne PCT has generated $15.0 to $20.0M in annual revenues for each of the last three years. Teledyne PCT develops rigid-flex printed circuit boards and assemblies, used in the defense, aerospace, and oil and gas industries. Lightcrest Rolls Out Hybrid Cloud Service
Los Angeles-based Lightcrest, a provider of cloud computing software, said it has rolled out a new, hybrid cloud computing platform it calls Kahu.
