ChowNow Extends Android Pay Restaurant Customers
Los Angeles-based ChowNow, which develops tablet-based, online ordering and marketing software for restaurants, has inked a partnership with Google, to help its restaurants accept Android Pay. Alteryx Hires SVP Engineering
Irvine-based data analytics software developer Alteryx has named Jay Bourland as its new Senior Vice President of Engineering, according to the company. Bourland was most recently Senior Vice President and General Manager, Customer Communications at Pitney Bowes Software, and has a Ph.D. in applied mathematics. Prisyna Names Marketing Director
Claremont-based oral health startup Prisyna, which recently raised $6M, has named Robert Riggs as its Director of Marketing. Riggs previously was at Blu Theory Solutions, and also served at Nobel Biocare North America, Oralogix Corporation, and ESPE America. Prisyna operates as a unit of Synedgen. The company said the hire comes as it launches an aggressive sales and marketing effort.

Arecont Vision Partners With Lens Manufacturer
Los Angeles-based high resolution surveillance camera technology developer Arecont Vision says it has added a new partner, Theia Technologies, as part of its partner program. Theia Technologies is a developer of specialty lenses used for the video surveillance market. Theia is a developer of ultra wide lenses specifically used for high resolution cameras. Arecont develops a 4K, IP video camera used for security applications.

MSC Software Wins UK Bus Manufacturer
Newport Beach-based CAD/CAM software maker MSC Software reported a win in the United Kingdom this morning, with bus and coach manufacturer Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL). Financial details of the win were not announced. Alexander Dennis Limited is using MSC's MSC Apex Modeler, for computer aided, structural design of its single and double deck buses.
