ERP Power Acquired By Angeles Equity Partners
Moorpark, California-based ERP Power, which develops LED lighting power supplies and drivers, has been acquired by private equity firm Angeles Equity Partners, Angeles said Wednesday afternoon. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. ERP Power, led by Michael Archer, is a major supplier of small form factor power supplies, used in LED lighting and solid state lighting applications. MFour Plans To Ramp Hiring In Irvine
Irvine-based mobile survey and research software developer MFour announced Wednesday that it is planning to double its staff, and plans to bring the company's total number of staff to more than 100 over the next nine months. MFour's flagship product is Surveys on the Go, a survey app which is specifically aimed for use on mobile devices. MFour is led by co-founder and CEO Chris St. Hilaire.

ServiceNow Acquires BrightPoint Security
ServiceNow, the developer of enterprise IT and business operations software which has major offices in San Diego, said Wednesday morning that it has agreed to acquire BrightPoint Security, a developer of security software. Financial details of the cash acquisition were not announced. BrightPoint Security was based in San Mateo, California.

Docupace Raises $16.5M
Los Angeles-based Docupace, a developer of software for financial services firms, said this morning that it has raised $16.5M in a funding round from Palisades Growth Capital and TVC Capital. As part of the funding, Paul D'Addario from Palisades and Jeb Spencer from TVC Capital will join the company's board of directors. Boingo Names Three New Directors In Deal With Activist Investors
Los Angeles-based Boingo Wireless announced this morning that it is appointed three new directors to its board, after reaching a deal with activist investors Ides Capital Management and Legion Partners Asset Management. According to Boingo, it is appointing three, new indepdnent directors--Maury Austin, David Cutrer and Kathleen Misunas--to its board, in an agreement which also has Ides Capital Management withdrawing all of its director nominees. Myspace Confirms Major Password Leak
Los Angeles-based Myspace, which is now part of Time, Inc., confirmed a major security breach on Tuesday, saying that stolen Myspace user login data had been posted to an online hacker forum. Myspace--which blamed the hack on Russian cyberhacker "Peace."--said the data stolen included user login data from a portion of accounts that were created prior to June 11, 2013 on the old Myspace platform. Machinima, TuneSat Team On Audio Monitoring Effort
Burbank-based content network Machinima and music monitoring service TuneSat have teamed up to provide audio monitoring of Machinima's content network, the two said Tuesday. According to the two, Machinima will use TuneSat's monitoring technology to better identify ad monitor the audio in content created by its talent network. Financial details of the deal were not announced. Machinima operates a YouTube content network, focused video games, animation, movies, pop culture, and other topics.

Microsemi, Arrow Electronics Cement Distribution Deal
Aliso Viejo-based semiconductor developer Microsemi said today that it has named electronics distributor Arrow Electronics as its lead global distributor. Los Angeles-based IP security camera developer Arecont Vision said this morning that it has promoted Sanjit Bardhan to Vice President, Middle East, Africa, and Inidia. Bardhan had been Director of the region since 2013, and has been at the company since 2011. He previously had served at Clipsal Datacomms by Schneider Electric and also Anixter Middle East.
