SendGrid In International Expansion, Opens London Office
SendGrid, the developer of email delivery software and services--which has a major engineering presence in Orange County--has opened up an office in London. The company said the new office will help it serve its growing customer base in Europe. Sendgrid powers the transactional emails of many cloud services, helping companies to offload all of the work required to deliver emails to end customers, including email server and delivery issues. Instacart Expands In OC, Adds 99 Ranch
Grocery delivery service Instacart is doubling its coverage of Orange County, the company said this morning, and will begin offering up its deliveries in a long list of zip codes in the county. The delivery service--which is based in San Francisco--had launched its grocery deliver services in March. The company said the expansion will serve twice as many Orange County residents than it had before. Instacart said it has seen 200% growth since it launched in late March of this past year. Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator Officially Opens Cleantech Hub
The Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) has officially opened up its La Kretz Innovation Campus, its own building at 5th and Hewitt Street, the incubator said on Friday. The LACI--which is run by the City of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Department of water & Power, officially cut the ribbon on its new building, which is situated on 3.2 acres and includes 60,000 square feet of office space. Qualcomm Adds HP Executive To Board
San Diego-based Qualcomm said this morning that it has added longtime Hewlett Packard executive Ann M. Livermore to its board of directors. Livermore has spent nearly 30 years at Hewlett-Packard Company, and ran HP's Enterprise Business. She is also on the board of United Parcel Services (UPS) and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), in addition to serving on the board of HP from June 2011 to November of 2015. Pipeliner Links With Kloudless
Los Angeles-based CRM software developer Pipelinersales has integrated its software with Kloudless, a developer of application programming interfaces (APIs). According to the two, the partnership will make it easier for developers to build applications that embed integration into Pipeliner CRM. Kloudless offers up a generic, universal CRM API, which lets developers interface to multiple CRM systems. Pipelinersales is led by Nikolaus Kimla.

IDrive Revamps RemotePC
Los Angeles-based IDrive said last week that it has "revamped" its RemotePC remote access solution, with a brand new user interface, faster file transfer, and more. IDrive--which provides online storage and backup services--said the remote access software works for both PCs and Macs, and also can be accessed via iOS and Android devices. The tool starts at $49.50 for the year.
