Heal Raises $14.8M
Los Angeles-based Heal has raised $14.8M in a funding, according to both a regulatory filing and prematurely leaked funding details from an embargoed press release this week. Heal is formally announcing the after the Thanksgiving holiday with more details and other news. Heal is led by Nick Desai, and offers up in-home, on-demand house calls by doctors. Loot Crate Tops Deloitte Technology Fast 500
Los Angeles-based Loot Crate has scored first place in the annual Deloitte Technology Fast 500, the annual ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in the United States by accounting firm Deloitte. Loot Crate had a 66,661% five year growth rate, the highest nationwide. Bridg Aims At Restaurants With New CRM Software
Los Angeles-based software developer Bridg said this week that it has launched a new customer relationship management (CRM) software product specifically aimed at restaurants. According to the company, it is using information from point-of-sale (POS), email, loyalty, online ordering, and other areas to help give restaurants a single, unified view of their individual customers, and helps those restaurants identify growth opportunities based on that data. Express Logic Opens Office In Massachusetts
San Diego-based real time operating systems developer Express Logic announced this week that it has opened up a brand new sales office, about 25 miles outside of Boston. The company said the new office will help it to serve markets on the East Coast. Express Logic is the maker of the ThreadX RTOS (real time operating system) software and associated software. The company did not say how many people will be based at the new office, which will provide both sales and support.
