Beepi Hits The Deadpool
Beepi, the online used car sales startup which expanded into Los Angeles in 2014, has shut down, according to reports. The Silicon Valley startup had raised more than $150M in funding. The company's $60M funding in 2014 had been focused on expansion to Los Angeles.

Rubicon Project Signs SoundCloud
Music and audio streaming service SoundCloud, and Los Angeles-based ad marketplace operator Rubicon Project said on Thursday that SoundCloud has selected Rubicon Project. Rubicon Project will provide programmatic access to SoundCloud's streaming audio and video ad inventory, according to the firms. The two said SoundCloud reaches more than 175 million users per month.

TigerText Rolls Out Scheduling Automation Tools
Santa Monica-based healthcare communications software developer TigerText has announced a new set of scheduling automation tools, the company said on Thursday. According to TigerText, it has added "role-based" scheduling automation tools, which automatically populates the assignment of roles for users in the messaging app. The company showed off the feature with an integration with Amazon Echo, where bedside requests by a patient are automatically routed to the appropriate provider.
