Hulu Inks Exclusive Streaming VOD For ABC's Fresh Off the Boat
Los Angeles-based Hulu has inked an exclusive, streaming video-on-demand deal for the ABC comedy Fresh Off the Boat, Hulu said on Friday. According to Hulu, all past episodes of the series are now available for exclusive streaming on Hulu. The deal also calls for future episodes to stream the day after they air on ABC. Guesty Gets $3M
Walnut, California-based Guesty, which develops software for professional property managers, says it has raised $3M in a Series A funding. According to Guesty, the round was led by Buran Venture Capital, and also included Magma Venture Partners and AltaIR Capital. Veritone Raises $33M In IPO
Newport Beach-based Veritone, a developer of artificial intelligence and analyics software, has raised $33.0M in is IPO on the NASDAQ. The company, which now trades under the symbol VERI, sold 2,500,000 shares of its common stock at $15.00 per share. In addition to the offering, Veritone said Acacia Research Corporation exercised a warrant to purchase an additional 2,150,335 shares of its common stock, which resulted in an additional $29.3M to Veritone, plus $8.0M in a line of credit from lende (More info...)

Zadara Teams With Intel On Demo Center In Germany
Irvine-based storage-as-a-service provider Zadara Storage said this week that it has opened up a new "demo center" near Munich, Germany, in a collaboration with Intel. According to Zadara, the demo allows customers and prospects to experience its offering live, and test the service using their own configurations.
