Disney CEO Bob Iger Leaves Trump Council, Following Elon Musk
Disney CEO Bob Iger has resigned from President Trump's Business Advisory Council, as a result of Trump's withdrawl from the Paris Agreement. Iger said on Twitter that he was resigning "as a matter of principle", over the withdrawal. Iger joins Elon Musk, who also departed Trump's advisory group on Thursday after the move, which puts the United States among less than a handful of countries who have not signed on to help combat climate change. SpaceX Scrubs ISS Launch Attempt, To Try Again Saturday
Hawthorne, California-based SpaceX scrubbed its resupply mission to the International Space Station on Thursday, due to weather, and will retry on Saturday, June 3rd. SpaceX had been attempting to launch the Commercial Resupply Services mission (CRS-11) for NASA at 5:55 p.m. EDT. The next launch time is Saturday, June 3 at 5:07 p.m. EDT (2:07 p.m. PT). Elon Musk To Cut Ties To Trump After Paris Decision
Technology billionaire Elon Musk said on Thursday that he is departing the President's various councils, after President Trump announced that the U.S. will leave the Paris Accord, the agreement among 143 countries to limit global temperature increases due to climate change to less than 2 degrees Celsius. Donut Media Launches Agency, Donut Brand Studio

March Capital Partners Backs SpyCloud
Los Angeles-based venture investor March Capital Partners is one of the investors in SpyCloud, a new startup in the cybersecurity market, focused on protecting businesses from data breaches. SpyCloud said this morning that it has raised $2.5M in a seed funding from Silverton Partners and March Capital Partners. The investment is one of several in the cybersecurity space for March Capital Partners, including investments in Crowdstrike and E8. SpyCloud is based in Austin, Texas.

LA Cleantech Incubator Gets $5M For New Program
The Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) has just received $5M to fund a new initiative, called Energize California, to help boost clean technology startups. According to the LACI, the new effort is being funded with a $5M grant from the California Energy Commission, and will support new technologies and entrepreneurs in Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, and Orange Counties. Zenlayer Gets $10M For Software Defined Networking
Diamond Bar-based Zenlayer, a provider of software defined network and services, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $10M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by F&G Venture, and also included NSFOCUS and other investors. ViaSat Plans Satellite Launch Today
Carlsbad-based ViaSat said this morning that it is planning to launch a new satellite, the ViaSat-2 satellite, from Guiana today. The company said its satellite is scheduled for launch at 4:45 p.m. PDT.
