Site1001 Finds $6M
San Clemente, California- and Kansas City, Missouri-based Site1001, a developer of software for facilities maintenance and management, has raised $6M in a Series A1 funding, according to the company. The company, which is led by Southern California serial entrepreneur Cleve Adams, has previously raised funding from Flyover Capital, Tifec and Ward Ventures. Site1001 now has raised a total of $11M. The company says it is partnered with the City of San Diego for its Smart City program.

Emagispace Takes $4.2M
Los Angeles-based Emagispace, a developer of "green" building block technology, disclose today that it has raised $4.2M in a Series A funding. The funding was co-led by Circle Venturs and Alpha Edison, and also included Jeremy Zimmer (UTA), 54 Madison, and others. The company's products are currently used for modular workspaces, tradeshow displays and booths, retail space, and more.

Qualcomm Backs Digital Farming Startup Prospera
San Diego-based Qualcomm has backed Israeli digital farming startup Prospera, in a $15M funding round, Prospera said today. The round came via Qualcomm's venture capital arm Qualcomm Ventures. The funding also included Cisco Investments, ICV, and Bessemer Venture Partners. Prospera develops systems which connect farm data--including irrigation, pollination, fertilization, and other data--all into a "single pane of glass" software system.

LegalZoom Says Its Services Are Legal In New Jersey
Glendale-based online legal referral provider LegalZoom says it is legal in New Jersey, despite a recent opinion issued by the New Jersey Supreme Court. According to LegalZoom, recent reports on the opinion of the New Jersey Supreme Court "misinterpret the findings", and that New Jersey attorneys can continue to ethically work with LegalZoom. Greenlots Gets Funding For EV Charging
Los Angeles-based Greenlots, a company which is developing electric vehicle charging and energy management technology, has raised a strategic round of investment, the company said this morning. The investment came from Energy Impact Partners (EIP), a utility coalition. Size of the investment round was not announced. Rebound Therapeutics Finds $16.5M
Irvine-based Rebound Therapeutics announced today that it has raised $16.5M in a Series B funding, for the company's development of devices used for recovery from minimally invasive surgery. According to Rebound, the funding was led by HBM-MedFocus, and also included Invus Opportunities Fund and affiliates of Wexford Capital LP. Scorpion Buys Digital Marketing Firm Local
Valencia-based Scorpion, an Internet marketing company, said on Monday that it has acquired Local, a digital marketing firm which has offices in Islandia, New York and Denver, Colorado. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Scorpion serves the legal, healthcare, franchise, and home services markets, and is led by CEO and founder Rustin Kretz.

Positioning Universal Ties With Sequans On GPS Tracking
San Diego-based Positioning Universal, a developer of Internet-of-Things (IoT) and GPS tracking devices, has tied with French semiconductor maker Sequans on a new product. According to the two, PUI has rolled out the PUI FJ1000 Series Automotive LTE Tracker, an automotive tracker, which is based in Sequans' Calliope LTE Cat 1 chipset. PUI's product provides GPS data, ignition events, acceleration, 5-second location tracking, and trip activity all via an LTE network.
