    News Corp, NBC Universal Name Joint Venture


    News Corp. and NBC Universal have finally named their online video joint venture, saying today that it has become "Hulu." The service, which is based in Los Angeles, is backed by $100M in investments from the two firms. According to the Hulu web site, the joint venture is now accepting signups for the web site's private beta, which is expected in October. Hulu said that its programming will also be distributed through AOL, Comcast, MSN, MySpace, and Yahoo.
