News Corp's Beverly Hills-based mobile entertainment unit, Jamba, said this morning that it it has appointed Jamie Samson as Executive Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs for the firm. Jamba said that Samson joins from Fox Licensing and Merchandising, and will supervise its legal staff in its Los Angeles and Berlin offices. Jamba is developing mobile entertainment products,including ringtones, mobile games, and original content. The firm is a joint venture of News Corporation and VeriSign.
