Nexsan In OEM Win With ONStor
Thousand Oaks-based Nexsan has been selected by clustered NAS storage provider ONStor, in an OEM storage deal, the firms announced today. ONStor and Nexsan said that ONStor will incorporate Nexsan's SATABeast and SATABoy storage systems into ONStor's line of NAS products. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Nexsan develops serial ATA (SATA) based disk storage products, which are used for storing enterprise and other data. Nexsan's SATABeast line is a high capacity storage system supporting up to 42TB; the firm's SATABoy supports up to 14TB. ONStor's network attached storage devices are geared towards the enterprise data center market.
