San Diego-based NextWave Wireless, a provider of mobile and broadband products, announced yesterday that the firm has moved to the Nasdaq Global Market. The firm, which was previously trading over-the-counter, will be traded on the Nasdaq under the symbol WAVE. NextWave develops WiMax semiconductors and devices for mobile device and infrastructure manufacturers and the wireless industry.
