Nirvanix Signs Axentra

San Diego-based online storage provider Nirvanix said today at CES that it has partnered with Axentra, a provider of software for storing photos, video, and music. Axentra and Nivranix said that it would add support for the Nirvanix online storage service as part of the firm's HipServ application, as part of a release of the LaCie Ethernet Disk mini - Home Edition personal media server. The integration will allow users of the HipServ platform to access an online backup feature which uses Nirvanix as the storage provider; the service will be available as a $39.99 per year subscription.
