San Diego-based NovaCardia has appointed a new executive, saying Thursday that it has added John E. Crawford as Chief Financial Officer for the firm. Crawford was most recently CFO at Cabrellis Pharmaceuticals, and has also served at COnforma Therapeutics, International Genetic Engineering, and Corvas International.
