Numecent Delivers Windows Apps To The Cloud

Irvine-based Numecent, which is backed by T-Venture, said Monday that it has launched a new cloud software service aimed at application developers. The company said its new cloud service, called "Native as a Service" is aimed at independent software vendors and developers, to help the make it easier to deliver their existing native applications from the cloud. The company's software delivers native applications from Microsoft Windows to users via the cloud without requiring recoding or rewrite of that software. According to Numecent, its software lets ISVs rapidly create cloud-based applications without any changes or access to source code, all running from Amazon Web Services. Pricing on the company's new software was not announced. Numecent is headed by Osman Kent.
