Oblong Industries Wins Contract With NASA

Los Angeles-based Oblong Industries, which develops gesture-aware, 3D spatial user interfaces, reported this morning that it has scored a contract with NASA Aeronautics. According to Oblong, it has been awarded a contract to provide NASA Aeronautics with its immersive, collaboration products to help connect engineers and researchers across the U.S. Financial impact of the win was not announced. The contract came from NASA's Transformative Aeronautics Concepts Program (TACP). Oblong's founder and CEO is John Underkoffler.
