Occam Deploys In Florida

Santa Barbara-based Occam Networks, a developer of broadband telecom equipment, said today that it has signed Hardee County, Florida, as a customer. Occam said that the county will deploy its Occam BLC 6000 products to bring broadband to 2,800 homes and 800 businesses in the county, as part of the Hardee County Broadband Project. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Occam's equipment is used by rural telecom firms to extend broadband to their customers.
