    Occam Signs Tennesee Telecom Firm


    Santa Barbara-based OCcam Networks, a provider of IP connectivity equipment for the telecommunications industry, said Friday that it has signed on Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative, a telecommunications provider in Tennesee. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, however Occam said that Bledsoe is upgradin gapproximately fifty existing sites and five central offices in its network, and has purchased and deployed the company's ADSL2 and POTS-only blades. Occam is a manufacturer of IP-based telecommunications equipment used by telecommunications providers to deploy broadband services such as IPTV and Internet Access to subscribers, in addition to voice.
