Oncam Raises $7M For Group Video Calling App For Celebrities

Los Angeles-based Oncam, a new startup developing group video calling apps, has raised $7M in a funding round, according to the company. The funding was led by Tonn Investments, and also included un-named high net worth individuals and firms. Oncam said it is directing its group video calling app at actors, directors, writers, musicians, athletes, and others to address their fans. Oncam was spun out of Untitled Entertainment, the talent agency which represents Jared Leto, Penelope Cruz, and Naomi Watts. The startup is led by Joe Shapiro. More information »
