Shoppers looking for those traditional, after-Thanksgiving deals from retailers can start early, as online retailers decided to kick off their Black Friday promotions Tuesday. Local e-commerce retailer NewEgg, as well as online shopping giant Amazon.com both kicked off promotional shopping efforts today, with Amazon announcing it has opened up a Black Friday Deal Store, which will feature "Black Friday" style doorbuster deals all month, and NewEgg launched a "Black November" sale, with similar deals on its own site. Online retailers seem to be dispensing with waiting until the day after Thanksgiving--the traditional "Black Friday", one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Traditional retailers Target and Kohl's are among those who are starting their Black Friday on midnight on Thanksgiving.
