San Juan Capistrano-based OptionEase said Wednesday that it has signed a strategic alliance with Westlake Securities, and investment bank based in Austin, Texas. OptionEase, which develops software-as-a-service for tracking stock options, said taht Westlake Securities will provide valuation services for 409A requirements in conjunction with OptionEase's web-based tools for managing equity compensation plans. OptionEase offers equity compensation compliance tools for FAS123(R) accounting regulations via the web; Westlake Securities is an investment bank which offers 409A valuation services along with other investment banking services.
