Overture Extends MSN Relationship
Pasadena-based Overture Services, the subsidiary of Yahoo Inc. which provides keyword-based search advertising, announced that it has extended its sponsored search distribution relationship with Microsoft. Overture will continue to provide sponsored search results to MSN sites in the U.S. and Canada, Europe and Asia. The relationship will extend through June 2006 in both the United States and internationally. Overture's search advertising is purchased by advertisers by the keyword, and presented to users when they do an Internet search. The previous agreement extended through June 2005.
