Santa Monica-based Palomar Ventures has added two partners to the venture capital firm. Palomar said yesterday that it promoted Brian Garrett to partner, and added Kevin Jacques as a new partner. As part of the announcement, Palomar also mentioned that the firm invested in San Francisco-based Zannel, a stealth mode startup, a "multimodal social entertainment network". Garrett has been at Palomar since 2001, where he started as an associate. He has been a Principal at the firm since 2003. Jacques was most recently at Sevin Rosen Funds, and also has served as CEO of GlobeRanger. Palomar makes early stage information technology investments. More information »
