    ParAccel Pulls In $20M

San Diego-based ParAccel, a firm that develops database management software, said Monday that it has raised $20M in a Series B funding. The round was led by Walden International, and also included Mohr, Davidow Ventures and Bay Partners. The firm said the funding would go to expand engineering, sales and support. ParAccel's software uses parallel processing techniques to accelerate database analytics; the software connects into SQL Server or Oracle databases.
