Hollywood-based Paramount Pictures said today that it has launched a new mobile phone portal to deliver content to mobile devices. The firm, which is a unit of Viacom, said that the new portal will promote theatrical and DVD releases, and allow visitors to browse and purchase movie-related content on their mobile phones. Paramount is tapping Crisp Wireless for the content management software for the portal.
