Los Angeles-based Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies have tied into social gaming giant Zynga, in a cross promotion with the new Rango film, the firms said this morning. According to the firms, they will integrate into a new quest for the Zynga game FrontierVille, as part of an advertising push for the debut his Friday of Rango. Rango features Johnny Depp as a chameleon in a frontier town. Financial terms of the ad deal were not disclosed. The companies said the integration deal is the first for Zynga in its FrontierVille game.
