California-based PC Club, a bankrupt personal computer retailer, has been acquired by a Los Angeles-based venture capital firm, NAOC Holdings. NAOC said today that it acquired PC Club last Thursday, May 15th, but did not disclose financial details of the acquisition. NAOC said that the acquisition will allow all 37 locations of PC Club, plus its two web sitse, to remain open for business. NAOC is an expansion stage venture capital firm, which manages over $200M in capital. PC Club filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy last week and had announced it would close all of its locations.
