    Peregrine Semiconductor Unveils 3G Handset Silicon


    San Diego-based Peregrine Semiconductor this week rolled out a new, 3G handset switch for supporting dual-mode WCDMA handsets. The firm said that its new PE42671 SP7T Cellular Handset Switch provides both dual-band WCDMA and GSM capability. Peregrine is a supplier of RF semiconductors used for the cellular industry and communications industry.
