Escondido-based PeriOptix, a provider of magnification and illumination devices for the dental and medical industry, has been acquired by Santa Maria-based DenMat, the firms said today. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. PeriOptix develops illuminated loups, headlights, and other products used in the medical industry.
