    Pharos Rolls Out GPS Receiver


    Torrance-based Pharos Science & Applications said today that it has rolled out its latest GPS device. The company's Pharos Traveler GPS 505 provides mapping using GPS technology on a 3.5" color display, running on Windows Mobile. The device delivers navigation instructions, real-time traffic information, and other location-based information. The device is pre-loaded with maps for the top 50 U.S. Metropolitan areas, and also synchronizes with Pocket Outlook.
