Torrance-based Phenomenex, a firm that develops chromatography products for the separation, analysis and purification of pharmaceuticals, said Wednesday that it has acquired two companies in Italy and Denmark. Phenomenex said that it has acquired Bologna-based Chemtek Analytica S.R.L., a subsidiary of Labservice Analytica S.R.L., and privately-held SupWare, headquartered in Hilleroed, Denmark. Financial terms were not disclosed. Both firms are partners of Phenomenex.
