Philips, IFILM in Home Entertainment Partnership

Los Angeles-based IFILM (www.ifilm.com) and consumer electronics giant Philips said today that they are entering into a global partnership for home entertainment products. IFILM will provide content for Philips Streamium products, including films, music videos, movie trailers, and more. Philips new products will provide wireless access to PCs and Internet entertainment. Philips product comes on the heels of similar product announcements from Microsoft (with its Media Center PC), D-Link, Napsster, and others who are pushing for wireless media connectivity to the living room. All of the companies have started shipping products which allow consumers to retrieve audio and video wirelessly from their PCs and the Internet directly to television or their stereos.
