San Diego-based Plimus, a firm that builds and managed online businesses for software publishers, web hosting firms, and online retailers, said Thursday that it has acquired Order1.Net, a provider of e-commerce services for software authors. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Plimus provides software registration, subscription, and licensing software targeted at shareware and other software.
