Polar Pro Expands To Microphones

Newport Beach-based Polar Pro, the startup provider of GoPro accessories and photo filters, is expanding into a new area today, with the launch of a microphone for the GoPro. The company, led by Jeff Overall, said its newest product is the ProMic, a microphone kit specifically aimed at helping GoPro owners capture high quality audio. The mic retails for $49.99, and includes a fixed right angle adapter and a removable foam windscreen. Polar Pro said the new mic is compatible with GoPro's Hero2, Hero3, and Hero3+ cameras.
