Practical Instruments Becomes Soliant Energy

Pasadena-based solar concentrator firm Practical Instruments announced Tuesday that the firm has changed its name to Soliant Energy. Practical Instruments made the announcement at a solar power conference in Spain. Soliant is backed by Nth Power, Rincon Venture Partners, Rockport Capital Partners, and Trinity Ventures.
